GymPin Internal Machine Extenders are designed to give compatible Hammer Strength plate loaded machines more usable loading space, allowing serious lifters to add more Olympic weight plates when the standard machine weight horn has run out of room.

How to Use Internal Machine Extenders

Unscrew the Plastic Cap

Remove the plastic caps from the weight horns of the machine and store safely. You will need to replace the end caps back after your set.

SLIDE ITHE EXTENDER INSIDE

Insert the machine extender into the existing loading horn to create a longer sleeve for Olympic plates.

GymPin Internal Machine Extenders are designed to add extra loading space to compatible plate loaded gym machines when the standard weight horns are no longer enough.

They slide inside the existing machine weight horns to create a longer usable loading bar, giving you more room to add Olympic weight plates during heavy strength training.

Each extender adds over 6 inches / 152mm of extra loading length per side, making them ideal for heavy leg presses, chest presses, rows, shoulder presses and other compatible plate loaded movements.

Sold as a pair, the extenders allow lifters to keep using their existing equipment while increasing plate loading capacity.

These extenders are built for serious lifters, commercial gyms, strength facilities and anyone using compatible plate loaded gym equipment where the built-in loading horns limit progression.

They are especially useful for bodybuilders, powerlifters and strength athletes who regularly max out the available loading space on machines.

If you are loading serious weight onto compatible Hammer Strength-style plate loaded equipment and running out of room before you run out of strength, these are made for you.

Standard machine loading horns can become a limiting factor for stronger lifters.

Once the horn is full, progression stops. Not because the athlete cannot lift more, but because the machine physically cannot take any more plates. A thrilling design flaw, because apparently gravity needed admin.

These internal machine extenders are designed to fit compatible Hammer Strength plate loaded equipment.

They are not universal machine extenders, so please check your machine dimensions carefully before ordering.

Custom Extenders Are On Point!

My leg press/hack squat machine combo is a custom built unit with non-standard hole sizing. Chris and the GymPin crew killed it with my custom sized machine extenders. I measured my machines holes with a digital caliper that has an accuracy of +/- 0.01mm and asked them to machine the small diameter anywhere between 40.50 mm - 40.86 mm. They went ahead and sent me the custom pieces with both small ends measuring exactly at 40.50mm (per my calipers). That said, I'm going to order another set for my Rogue Vertical Plate Tree.

Anywho, I highly recommend the product and to reach out the GymPin crew directly before purchasing the extenders if you have non-standard machine holes. The notes comment section for custom sizing glitched out on me before I had the chance to input my custom sizing per the instructions. I think it was due to the ShopPay purchasing application and had no reflection on the customer service GymPin provided or the quality/craftsmanship of their products.

Some hammer strength machines have bad welding

Some hammer strength machines have bad welding jobs so it can’t fit every hammer strength machine

Thanks for the feedback — you’re absolutely right. Variations in welding and tolerances across some Hammer Strength machines can affect fitment, and unfortunately that’s outside of our control.

We design our products to work with the widest range of machines possible, but there will always be some outliers where inconsistencies in manufacturing come into play.

Great for any plate loaded machine I have maxed. I will likely purchase the external machine extender for machines that don’t fit the extender. This is not to the fault of gympin.

BUILT FOR HEAVY PLATE LOADED TRAINING

Progressive overload does not stop being important just because your machine has run out of loading space. Sadly, the machine does not care about your goals. Rude, but predictable.

For stronger lifters, plate loaded gym machines can eventually become the bottleneck. The movement still works, the machine still feels right, but the standard loading horns simply do not give you enough room to keep adding plates.
