A calliper gives the most reliable measurement. Measure the metal shaft—not the handle, end cap or selector hole by eye.

Remove the original pin
Unload the machine and remove its existing selector pin.

Measure the metal shaft
Use a digital calliper across the widest part of the straight metal shaft.

Choose the closest diameter
A reading close to 8mm needs the 8mm GymPin; a reading close to 10mm needs the 10mm version.

Check length and clearance
Confirm the pin can seat fully and added plates will clear the stack, shrouds, cables and frame.
