WELCOME

TO THE GYMPIN COMMUNITY

GymPin started with a simple problem: the weight stacks just weren’t heavy enough. We were lifters first, so we designed a solution for lifters – engineered in Britain, tested under real iron, and built to take a beating. From that first pin, we’ve grown into a brand trusted by athletes around the world who refuse to settle for “good enough” kit.

Looking Ahead: 2026 to 2030

The next chapter is all about supporting more athletes, more often – from dedicated amateurs to elite professionals. Between now and 2030, we’re focused on:

Expanding our product range with smart, heavy-duty tools that help you lift more and lift better.

Pushing British innovation in strength training equipment, keeping design, testing and refinement under our own roof.

Building systems and support that make it easier for you to train harder, track progress and hit new PRs.

We’re only just getting started. Keep an eye on our socials and subscribe to our email newsletter to be the first to hear about new product drops, athlete collaborations and what’s coming next for GymPin.

Frequently Asked Questions

Before you load any plates, check three things: The pin slides fully into the weight stack hole. The stack lifts smoothly when you pull the cable. There’s no unusual snagging, grinding or twisting of the cable. If all three are good, you’re ready to train.
Use it exactly as shown in our demo content: pin fully inserted, plates loaded close to the stack, and no sharp angles on the cable. Start lighter than you think, feel how the machine behaves, then build up. If something doesn’t feel right, stop and message us.
It’s your kit, but some gyms like to know what’s being used on their machines. A quick word with staff usually goes a long way and avoids confusion if they see extra plates hanging off the stack. Be respectful to the gym.
Wipe it down after use, avoid dropping it from height, and don’t store it with wet plates or in damp kit bags. RAW finishes may develop a patina over time; that’s cosmetic and doesn’t affect strength.
Used correctly and within sensible loading limits, GymPin is designed to work with commercial equipment without causing damage. The main risk comes from overloading a machine that wasn’t built for extreme weights. If in doubt, cap the load at a level your machine has comfortably handled before. If using a commercial gym, please seek permission prior to using a GymPin and respect the gym!
We regularly share tips, setups and training ideas on our website and social channels. Searching “GymPin” on Instagram, YouTube or TikTok will show real-world examples from lifters using the same kit you now own.
Start with a familiar movement where you normally “max out” the stack: lat pulldown, cable row, triceps pushdown or leg extension are popular choices. Add a small amount of extra weight, get used to the feel, then progress from there. Do not overexert yourself, or use the GymPin in any way that may compromise the gym machine you are using or your joints or muscles.
Think of GymPin as a way to extend your current top set, not double it overnight. An extra 5–20 kg is more than enough for most people to start. Increase gradually over several sessions as you adapt.
Yes. Accessories like lifting straps, our Seatbelt, D-Handle Bars and other attachments are designed to complement cable work. Just ensure the carabiners and connection points are closed and secure before lifting.
es. Different manufacturers drill their weight stacks to slightly different tolerances. A small amount of play or a snug fit is normal as long as: • the pin inserts fully, and • the stack moves freely without sticking.
Every GymPin product uses British-sourced steel and aluminium, engineered, tested, and finished in the UK.
Absolutely. That’s one of its main advantages. As long as the machine uses the same pin size and a standard weight stack hole, you can move your GymPin between gyms, home setups and different brands of equipment.
Check your dispatch emails: some orders ship in more than one parcel. If something is definitely missing, contact us with your order number and a quick note of what hasn’t arrived and we’ll resolve it.
If the GymPin itself is unharmed, it’s good to use. If you can see dents, bends, cracks or anything that worries you, take photos of the packaging and product and contact us so we can assess it.
Houston, we may have a problem! No issue at all. The QR code simply brings you to this support page. If you’re missing any part of the order, let us know and we’ll check the shipment history for you.
If customs or import charges apply, they are usually collected before or at the point of delivery. You shouldn’t receive surprise charges afterwards. If you do, contact your courier first, then speak to us if anything looks incorrect.
If you’re worried about safety, stop using it immediately. Email hello@gym-pin.co.uk with your order number, a description of the issue and clear photos or a short video. We’ll assess and advise the next step, which may include a replacement.
If your GymPin is unused and in original condition, we can usually arrange an exchange within our returns window. Shipping cost back to us is at your expense. You can start the process here: https://gym-pin.co.uk/apps/gympin-returns
If we’ve made an error or the product is faulty, we’ll put it right. If you’re changing size/variant or have simply changed your mind, return shipping is normally your responsibility.
Once the return is inspected, refunds are usually processed within a few working days. Exchanges are dispatched as soon as the replacement item is available and the return has been approved.
GymPin products are built to last. If you experience a genuine failure during normal use, contact us with details and we’ll review it on a case-by-case basis. We want customers training with confidence, not worrying about their kit.

Disclaimer on Use, Damage and Injury

GymPin products are designed for safe use only on compatible pin-loaded weight stack machines. Incorrect setup, excessive loading, or use on unsuitable equipment can result in damage or injury. Always ensure the GymPin is fully inserted, the machine moves freely, and the additional load is within safe operating limits for that equipment.

If you are training in a commercial gym, it is your responsibility to seek permission from gym staff before using a GymPin on their machines. Different facilities have different policies, and using additional loading equipment without approval may breach their rules or invalidate their insurance.

If you are unsure about compatibility or safe setup, stop using the product and contact us for guidance. By using GymPin products, you accept responsibility for training safely and within your own capability.
