Compact Cable-Stack Loading for Tighter Spaces

Compact cable-stack loading for machines where space is limited.
The 2" MiniPin by GymPin replaces the selector pin on a compatible cable-machine weight stack and provides an 80 mm loading sleeve for a standard 2-inch Olympic plate. It is the compact choice when the Original GymPin’s longer sleeve would leave insufficient clearance beside the machine.
- 80 mm loading sleeve for tighter cable-stack setups
- 49.5 mm sleeve diameter for 2-inch Olympic plates with a 50.8 mm centre hole
- Choose an 8 mm (5/16") or 10 mm (25/64") selector pin
- 102 mm selector-pin section
- Available in Raw, Polished and Black finishes
- Manufactured in the United Kingdom
Compatibility
The MiniPin is designed for compatible selectorised cable machines that use an 8 mm or 10 mm selector pin. Fit is not universal. Measure the machine’s existing pin with callipers and check there is enough room for the 80 mm sleeve plus your chosen Olympic plate before ordering.
MiniPin, Original or KingPin?
Choose the MiniPin for restricted-clearance setups, the Original GymPin as the standard all-round extender, or the KingPin when a 10 mm machine has enough space for an extra-long loading sleeve.
Dimensions and weight
The loading section measures 80 mm long × 49.5 mm diameter. The selector-pin section measures 102 mm long and is available in 8 mm or 10 mm diameter. The 8 mm MiniPin weighs 494 g; the 10 mm MiniPin weighs 527 g.
Setup and safety
Obtain the gym owner’s permission before use. Insert the MiniPin fully, begin with a light test load and confirm the plate stays clear of the machine throughout the movement. Follow the equipment manufacturer’s loading limits, use controlled repetitions and never slam the weight stack.

2
Check the available clearance
Confirm there is room for the 80 mm loading sleeve and your chosen Olympic plate without contacting the machine.
-
3
Insert the MiniPin fully

SHORTER WHERE IT MATTERS
More Resistance. Less Sleeve.
Some cable stacks have enough room for extra resistance but not for a full-length loading sleeve. The MiniPin keeps the Olympic sleeve to 80 mm, giving you a compact route to progressive overload on compatible machines.
Use it for cable curls, triceps pressdowns, rows, pulldowns, lateral raises and other controlled cable exercises once the built-in stack is no longer enough.
A compact sleeve for machines where the Original GymPin’s longer loading section would leave insufficient room.
Choose 8 mm or 10 mm to match the pin used by your compatible weight stack.
The 49.5 mm sleeve accepts plates with a standard 2-inch / 50.8 mm centre hole.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT GYMPIN
MiniPin, Original or KingPin?
Choose by your machine’s selector-pin diameter and the loading-sleeve clearance available beside the stack.
| Model | Loading sleeve | Selector pin | Best suited to |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2" MiniPinCompact | 80 mm | 8 mm or 10 mm | Restricted clearance and smaller loading needs |
| Original GymPinAll-round | 155 mm | 8 mm or 10 mm | The standard choice for most compatible cable stacks |
| KingPinExtra-long | 200 mm | 10 mm only | More loading room where the machine has enough clearance |
All three models use a 49.5 mm loading sleeve for 2-inch Olympic plates. Always measure your machine before ordering.
CHECK THE FIT BEFORE YOU BUY
Measure First. Load With Confidence.
The MiniPin is available in two selector-pin diameters and is not a universal-fit product. Measure the machine’s existing pin and the space beside the weight stack before selecting a variant.
- 1Measure the selector pinUse callipers and choose 8 mm or 10 mm to match the existing machine pin.
- 2Check side clearanceAllow for the 80 mm sleeve plus the full width and diameter of your chosen plate.
- 3Confirm the plate holeUse a 2-inch Olympic plate with a 50.8 mm centre hole.
- 4Choose single or pairA single suits one-sided loading; select a pair only when your intended setup requires two.
PRODUCT QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
2-inch MiniPin FAQs
Clear answers about selector-pin size, Olympic plates, clearance and choosing the right GymPin model.
What is the 2-inch MiniPin?
The MiniPin is a compact cable-stack weight extender. It replaces the selector pin on a compatible machine and provides an 80 mm sleeve for adding a 2-inch Olympic plate beside the stack.
How is the MiniPin different from the Original GymPin?
The MiniPin has an 80 mm loading sleeve for restricted-clearance setups. The Original GymPin has a 155 mm sleeve and is the standard all-round choice when the machine has more space. Both are available with an 8 mm or 10 mm selector pin.
How is the MiniPin different from the KingPin?
The MiniPin uses a compact 80 mm loading sleeve and is available in 8 mm or 10 mm selector-pin sizes. The KingPin uses an extra-long 200 mm sleeve, is available with a 10 mm selector pin only and is intended for greater loading room where clearance permits.
Will the MiniPin fit my cable machine?
Fit is not universal. Your selectorised machine must use an 8 mm or 10 mm selector pin and must have enough side clearance for the 80 mm sleeve plus your chosen plate. Measure both before ordering.
Should I choose the 8 mm or 10 mm MiniPin?
Measure the diameter of the machine’s existing selector pin with callipers. Choose 8 mm (5/16 inch) or 10 mm (25/64 inch) to match that measurement; do not estimate by eye.
What weight plates fit the MiniPin?
Use standard 2-inch Olympic plates with a 50.8 mm centre hole. The loading sleeve is 49.5 mm in diameter and 80 mm long.
What are the exact MiniPin dimensions?
The large loading section is 80 mm long and 49.5 mm in diameter. The selector-pin section is 102 mm long and is available in either 8 mm or 10 mm diameter.
Do I need one MiniPin or a pair?
Choose a single MiniPin for one-sided loading on a compatible stack. Pair variants are available for setups that require two pins; confirm how you intend to use them before selecting the quantity.
How much does the MiniPin weigh?
The 8 mm MiniPin weighs 494 g and the 10 mm MiniPin weighs 527 g.
Is the MiniPin made in the UK?
Yes. The 2-inch MiniPin is manufactured in the United Kingdom.
