LANDMINE / T-BAR ROW ATTACHMENT
V Row Handle for 2" Olympic Barbells
A compact close-grip row attachment built to turn a compatible 2" Olympic barbell and landmine setup into a stable, repeatable back-training station.
Why use a V Row Handle?
The V Row Handle gives you a dedicated close neutral-grip position for landmine and T-bar rowing. That grip keeps the elbows naturally tucked, makes it easier to drive them behind the torso and gives you a strong position for loading the upper back, lats, rhomboids and rear delts.
The 18 cm drop from the top of the handle to the centre of the bar hole helps position the hands above the bar rather than crowding the plates. The 14.5 cm top handle keeps the attachment compact while leaving enough room for a secure two-handed grip.
Built for practical progression
- Designed around standard 2" Olympic barbells.
- Compact V shape for close-grip landmine and T-bar rows.
- Neutral hand position can feel more natural than a straight bar for many lifters.
- Easy to load progressively with Olympic plates.
- Useful in home gyms, PT studios and commercial strength spaces.
Exercises you can perform
Close-Grip Landmine Row
Use the V grip to row the bar toward the lower chest or upper abdomen while keeping the elbows close to the body.
T-Bar Row
Use a supported or free-standing setup to load the mid-back, lats and traps through controlled horizontal pulling.
Supported Row Variation
Where your setup allows, use the attachment to create a stable two-handed landmine row variation with controlled torso position.
High-Rep Back Finisher
Reduce the load and use higher-rep close-grip rows to finish the lats and upper back after heavier pulling work.
Fit and setup
This product is designed for a 2" Olympic barbell sleeve. Before loading, make sure the attachment is fully seated, your landmine or bar anchor is secure, and the bar path has enough clearance for the plates and handle throughout the full repetition.
Key measurements: 14.5 cm top handle length and 18 cm from the top handle to the centre of the bar hole.
V Row Handle FAQs
What size barbell does the V Row Handle fit?
It is designed for 2" Olympic barbells. Check your sleeve diameter and available clearance before loading.
What muscles does a V-grip row train?
Landmine and T-bar rows primarily train the lats and upper back, with the rhomboids, traps, rear delts, biceps and forearms also contributing.
Why use a neutral V grip?
A close neutral grip keeps the hands facing each other and usually encourages the elbows to track close to the torso, which many lifters find strong and comfortable for rowing.
Can I use it without a landmine base?
The bar must be anchored safely. Use a purpose-built landmine, rack attachment or another secure setup designed to control the free end of the bar.
