Attach the ropes to a cable machine, choose your grip, then set your body position depending on the movement.
For pressdowns, keep your upper arms stable, drive the hands down and apart, and fully extend the elbow at the bottom.
For overhead extensions, step forward, let the ropes move behind your head, then extend through the elbow while keeping control through the full range.
